This issue of Triple Threat breaks the usual rules. Instead of a "Top 3" list, each member elected to lay down their definitive number one choices. This article serves more as a "Musician Profile" for one of the most beloved bands in the Phoenix scene. Let's check out Khillgharahs TRIPLE THREAT!

Mazie (Lead Singer)
Top Album: The Shit Ov God - Behemoth
Top Band in the Scene: Blood Hoard
Top Inspirations: Fleshgod Apocalypse
Top Venues: The Hive
Favorite Gear: SE Electronics V7 Black Dynamic Super Cardioid Micro Red Bedazzled Microphone
(Colten - Drummer)
Top Album: Homicidal Ecstasy - Sanguisugabogg has some of the most creative drum parts of any metal band I've listened to. Mixed with some of the heaviest riffs that whole album is so crucial to my taste.

Top Band in the Scene: Salvations Lost, they were the first band I ever saw at a local show and was blown away. I try and see one of their shows every chance I get.
Top Inspiration: My biggest inspiration is Cody Davidson (Putrid Stu, Volcano, Sanguisugabogg). He's easily one of the most creative metal drummers alive right now. He has this incredible musically talented mind that shines through on every damn project he's a part of.
Top Venues: The Hive
Favorite Gear: My Pearl Demon Xr Double Pedal, Yamaha Birch Stage Custom with Evan's ECS2 heads, and a Mapex MPX Steel Snare drum 3.5 x 14 inch with Evan's EC Reverse Dot head.

Evert (Bassist)
Top Album: Hatred For Mankind - Dragged into Sunlight
Top Band in the Scene: Kthulu

Elliot (Lead Guitarist)
Top Album: The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me - Brand New
Top Band in The Scene: Wilted Widow

Thank you so much to Khillgarah for being a part of this article! This band is sharp, disciplined, and primed for bigger stages. I've caught them live twice, and both times their energy detonated across the crowd. They play with professionalism, powerful performance, and precisions that only comes from serious, committed practice.
